Along with friends in our community, Mirapath volunteered at MACLA’s annual Family Art Day. This annual event is a free outdoor celebration providing a unique and memorable art experience for the entire family.

Since 1989, MACLA/Movimiento de Arte y Cultura Latino Americana has provided our local community with inclusive contemporary art space centering Latino culture and experiences. MACLA produces over 50 programs with over 30,000 participants each year – focusing on Visual Arts, Performing & Literary Arts, Youth Arts Education, and Community Arts Program. Dedicated to emerging Latino artists and audiences, MACLA’s vision is to use the arts as a channel for social change.

“I brought my family to volunteer because I want my kids to appreciate diversity, learn about art, and give back to the community. We had a great time!” said Gilbert Pareja, Director of Professional Service Delivery and one of the volunteers from Mirapath.
