Mirapath at the MVLA AVID Mock Career Fair

At the MVLA AVID Mock Career Fair on March 25, Mirapath showed what it truly means to invest in that future. Alongside more than 35 organizations and 90 professionals, the team volunteered their time to mentor over 160 students, helping them take their first steps into the professional world.
For many students from Alta Vista High School and the MVLA AVID program, this wasn’t just another school event—it was their first real glimpse into what a career could look like.
More Than Practice—A Confidence Builder
Through mock interviews, resume feedback, and elevator pitch practice, students gained more than skills—they gained confidence.
They learned how to introduce themselves, how to communicate their value, and most importantly, how to believe they belong in these spaces.
