Mirapath recently competed in the 13th Annual Eggs by the Bay™ Eggfest at Saratoga Springs Park, California, one of the top “Big Green Egg only” food festivals in the country. We are proud to report that our talented team took 4th place out of 24 teams in the barbeque competition for their delicious Brazilian-themed food. Each team was judged for their cooking skills and presentation. Last year was Mirapath’s first time competing in the competition and we won 6th place against 25 teams.
“This was our second year participating in Eggfest and it is always a lot of fun getting the Mirapath team together outside of the office and seeing so many friends,” said Doris Yeh, Mirapath Co-Founder and CEO. “I was especially excited for this year’s Brazilian cuisine, after having lived there for so many years. Our entire cooking team did a fantastic job and the dishes were incredible!”
Team Mirapath served up several incredible dishes to more than 600 attendees, including Heart of Palm salad for starters, Farofa and vinaigrette salsa to complement the savory dish, Picanha, grilled sirloin cap steak, and delectable Pao De Queijo, cheese rolls inspired from the state of Minas Gerais. The team also prepared Caipirinha, a cocktail mixed with Cachaca, sugar, and lime, and a sweet decadent treat of Apple Pear Crisps.
We congratulate everyone on the team for their win. It was a fun day of bringing our Mirapath friends and family together and sharing the Brazilian culture and cuisine. We look forward to competing again next year and have our eye on getting first place!
