Objective
The customer, an edge data center, needed a reliable professional services company to ensure its white space was ready in two weeks.
Scope of Work
The Mirapath Project Management Team specified and procured all the materials including 200+ racks, 400+ PDUs, 2-tier ladder rack, and fiber tray. Professional Services included:
- Seismically anchor, bay, level, and ground the racks onto the raised floor
- Install two tiers of ladder rack and fiber runners overhead
- Cut out and install 8″x 8″ split brush grommet for each cabinet
- Anchor racks at 4 points via threaded rod and unistrut
- Work with the General Contractor for all necessary permits
Challenges
- Extremely tight schedule of procuring and delivering 200+ racks and 400+ PDUs
- The site was still under construction
Results
Mirapath delivered the project on schedule, within budget without change orders. Shortly after this project’s completion, the customer engaged Mirapath for additional projects.
